Welcome to Frank Watson's home on the web...
You have arrived at the right place if you are interested in writing, westerns, the American West, historical fiction, or my works.
On the left is my novel, The Homecoming of Billy Buchanan. It was originally published by Fawcett/Random House and is again available through the Authors Guild Back-in-Print program.
On the right is the anthology in which my latest story, "Trophy Wife," appears. Also included in the books are stories by many other talented writers.
My other published work includes another western from Fawcett/Random House, A Cold Dark Trail, and three from Zebra/Kensington written under a pseudonym.
I have not limited myself to one genre. A literary short story, "Where the Yellow Flowers Grow," which won the Graduate Fiction Prize from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, was published in Mysteries of the Ozarks, Volume 1 from Skyward Publications. Another literary short story, "When Bonnie and Clyde Came to Town," won a regional award and was included in Echoes of he Ozarks, Volume VI.
I hope you enjoy what you find here and return often.
